Digital archives are curated collections of digital files often focused upon a particular topic. Digitals archives can consist of some combination of text, images, audio and videos.
Features
Digital archives provide teachers and students easy-to-access, "vetted", and rich information on specific topics. Archives are particularly useful for student research projects and inquiry activities. These collections are often more efficient and reliable than student searches for resources.
